Cutting, folding and pasting paper for Xmas

Christmas card made by folding, cutting and pasting paper. Wooden envelope.

We were asked to research on The Bauhaus and make something based on our findings.

Well, I found that the Bauhaus also worked on paper engineering and thought it would be fun and interesting to play around with different kinds of paper and their behaviour. Had some experience with Origami, but this would be different.

Made a Xmas Card using a Mexican paper called “Amate” and Japanese paper, “Washi” (don’t know the exact name of this Washi). The envelope was made opening a thin hole in balsa wood.
